Lifetime 24/7 Monitoring with Every Installation
We believe in proactive system monitoring to provide expedient service for any potential issues that may arise. With 24/7 system monitoring, we are able to keep a watchful eye on your solar system throughout its 25-year lifespan. Many of our systems are equipped with module-level monitoring, allowing us to have a high level of confidence in their optimal production and swiftly detect and address any issues that may occur within the solar array.
24/7 monitoring capabilities allow us to stay proactive in identifying potential issues with your solar energy system. We accomplish this by viewing monitoring dashboards and receiving alerts and reports provided by the equipment manufacturers. Monitoring data is transmitted from the equipment to the manufacturer via the internet, so monitoring will lapse if internet connectivity is lost, manufacturer monitoring service ends, or if the equipment’s monitoring function stops working.
In the event of a lapse in monitoring data, we will contact you to report the outage and offer assistance with restoring service. The customer is responsible for paying any required subscription fees from the manufacturer to extend monitoring services beyond the initial monitoring period. Repairs to the solar equipment to restore monitoring function will be done under the manufacturer’s warranty with support from Cascadia Solar. In the event of discontinuation of monitoring services by a manufacturer, Cascadia Solar will work to offer an alternative solution. Repairs to the customer’s own networking equipment and maintenance of internet service are the customer’s sole responsibility.
10-Year Workmanship Warranty
For a warranty period of 10 years, we warrant that any system issues due to deficiencies or defects in our workmanship will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you, the customer. Cascadia Solar has been installing solar PV systems since 2008, and is part of Frederickson Electric, which has been doing quality electrical work since 1974. We have the confidence to offer this warranty because we strive to perform our work to the highest industry standards, and have a long track record of successful, durable projects and happy customers.
Lifetime Manufacturer Warranty Support
We are committed to providing ongoing support for the lifetime of your solar system. Cascadia Solar acts as your advocate when it comes to securing manufacturer warranty services. Our equipment manufacturers stand by their products, and we work closely with them to ensure that any component failure covered under a manufacturer’s warranty is replaced promptly and with maximum labor reimbursement allowed for in the warranty. If the labor reimbursement doesn’t cover our labor cost, we will discuss this with you and come to an equitable agreement. We handle the logistics involved in the replacement process, ensuring that your system continues to operate at its best.
